If You're Missing a Tooth, Get It Replaced With a Bottle Opener?

This is some crazy body modification stuff right here . . . and WAY more badass than getting your eyelids pierced or your taint tattooed.

Some rugby players in Argentina have started replacing their missing teeth with BOTTLE OPENERS.

The bottle opener is shaped like a tooth . . . and a dental surgeon implants it by drilling into your gum and anchoring it to your jawbone.  Which sounds INCREDIBLY painful . . . but just think how cool you'll be at parties!

We couldn't find any dentists in America who are offering the service, so you basically have two options if you want one:  Go to Argentina . . . or pay a lot of money to a dentist here who works in the back room of a Chinese restaurant.  Story here.

In the New Version of Monopoly, Boardwalk Is Replaced by Pierre, South Dakota?

Monopoly turns 80 this year, so Hasbro is putting out a new version this fall where all the property spaces are American cities.  They've done it before, but everything is being updated.

They also let people vote which cities should be on the board, and the one with the most votes got to take Boardwalk's place as the most valuable spot.  After four million votes were counted, the big winner is . . . Pierre, South Dakota.

It seems like the people of Pierre banded together to beat the system, and Pierre is a nice place . . . we're just not sure it's the most expensive, glamorous, city in America.

Minneapolis is taking Park Place's spot as the second-most valuable spot on the board.

Here are all the cities, and their colors, from most expensive to least.  Dark blue:  Pierre, South Dakota and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 Green:  New York . . . Virginia Beach . . . and Los Angeles.

 Yellow:  Chicago . . . Indianapolis . . . and Charleston, South Carolina.

 Red:  Detroit . . . Boston . . . and Milwaukee.

 Orange:  Cleveland . . . Asheville, North Carolina . . . and Denver.

 Magenta:  Atlanta . . . Little Rock . . . and Seattle.

 Light blue:  Portsmouth, New Hampshire . . . Charlotte . . . and Dallas.

Brown:  Waconia, Minnesota (???) and Chesapeake, Virginia.

Letting Your Dog Lick Your Face Might Help Your Allergies

Have you ever seen someone let their dog lick their face like they're making OUT? Gross, right? Well, it turns out you might be a fool for NOT doing it.

Researchers at the University of Arizona are conducting a study to see if a dog's saliva can help with ALLERGY symptoms.

Allergies and immune diseases like asthma are more common now, and it actually might be because we're so SANITARY . . . we're not being exposed to as much GOOD bacteria as we used to be. But dogs are still disgusting, so they ARE.

And other studies have found that kids who grow up with dogs tend to have fewer allergies. The theory is that dogs pick up bacteria by licking things and rolling around in stuff . . . and being exposed to that bacteria helps kids build resistance.

Now, if you're ALLERGIC to dogs, then letting one lick your face probably isn't a good idea. But if you're just allergic to pollen or something . . . keep Frenching your dog I guess?  read more here.

Scientists Have Created New Music Specifically For Cats

Scientists at the University of Wisconsin and University of Maryland have created brand new music specifically for CATS.

They say, quote, "We looked at the natural vocalizations of cats and matched our music to the same frequency range, which is about an octave higher than human voices."

The tempo of the songs is based on purring and scratching.  And they used a lot of sliding notes, since cats slide through frequencies when they meow.

So far they think the songs they came up with really ARE appealing to that lucrative cat demo.  When they played regular human music to a test group of 47 cats, they didn't respond at all.

But when the special music started, the cats got excited and rubbed up against the speakers.

The scientists believe the music could be good to play at animal shelters and veterinary clinics, where it could help cats feel at ease . . . or even just at home, when your cat is stressed out.
