Here's something from Hollywood

Wanda Sykes and her wife, Alex, welcomed twins on April 27, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. Daughter Olivia Lou weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was 19-inches long. Son Lucas Claude debuted at 7 lbs., 9 oz., and was 20-inches long. The comedian's wife gave birth to the babies. "All are happy and healthy and at home," says Sykes's rep Danica Smith. The actress, who stars on New Adventures of Old Christine, and her wife were married on Oct. 25, 2008. The twins are the first children for the couple. (People)

Well, sort of. Not really. Kind of. Let's put it this way: it ain't going to be legal. Madonna and Jesus Luz have been going strong and now Luz's father is telling a Brazilian magazine that they will be tying the knot a la Kabbalah. In the interview, the model's dad reveals that the ceremony is meant as a confirmation of the couple's happiness and says his son is "extremely happy." But, the proud papa is sure that this is more of a commitment ceremony rather than a legal marriage, as Luz has not been asked to sign a pre-nup. Furthermore, the couple have already been acting like a family unit as they reside together in Madonna's Central Park West Apartment and Jesus has stepped up as a father figure for Madonna's kids. "He plays ball with the kids. Jesus has charisma and loves children," says Papa Luz. Okay, so he sounds like he would make a good nanny, but is he husband material for the Material Mom? One of the guys from Pearl Jam was jumped and robbed by three masked scumbags with knives -- and the whole thing was caught on tape. According to a police report filed in Atlanta, Jeff Ament -- who plays bass for the band -- was pulling up to their studio back in April with a friend, when the three little bitches darted out of some nearby woods, smashed the windows of Ament's ride and demanded cash. The bassist tried to take off on foot, but the robbers caught up with him, knocked him to the ground and stole over $7,000 in money and goods, according to Rolling Stone. Ament suffered a laceration on his head and was treated at the scene. The whole thing was caught on a nearby security camera -- but despite the eye in the sky, no arrests have been made. (TMZ)

While it may have been a good 40 years since Bette Midler last sang "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match" in Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof, the Divine Miss M is now ready to play matchmaker herself – to Jennifer Aniston. "She needs an exciting guy, like a race-car driver," Midler, whose Las Vegas revue The Showgirl Must Go On marks its 100th show on June 7, told PEOPLE about Aniston. "I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who's going to give her a run for her money." Still in full matchmaker mode, Midler, 63, said, "She should find somebody who is really hot, who's not in show business. Somebody with a lot of money, and she should live the large life and forget about these a--holes. She's a great girl. She's got everything going for her." As for the Friends star's romantic past, Midler said she had had high hopes for Aniston and Vince Vaughn, who dated from 2005 to 2006. "I actually thought Vince Vaughn was great," she said. "He's hilarious, he's good-looking. I mean, I thought he had it all." But adds Midler, "I don't really know them, but I like them, I like to watch them, and I enjoy them." And what about another Aniston ex, John Mayer? "Well, he's a good-looking guy," Midler says of the musician, whose on-and-off relationship with Aniston ended earlier this year. "I've got to say, I watched it for awhile, but I have no opinion. I just read a few of the blogs." Asked if perhaps Aniston should post a profile on an online dating service, Midler said with a laugh, "Oh, please, you mean JDate? Put her up on JDate and see how she does!" (People)

A report claims Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship problems have left their six children running wild. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's rumored relationship difficulties have left their six children to run amok, a source has told Now magazine. "[Brad's parents] Bill and Jane think that Angelina could be suffering from postpartum depression because she's hardly with the kids at the moment and the twins seem to have bonded with their nannies rather than her," the insider says. "They can stop the babies from crying whereas Brad and Angie have no idea. When Brad and Ange are around, the older kids are clamoring for their attention, so the babies don't even get a look in. It's a chaotic situation as the kids are running amok. There's no control." (Handbag)

American Idol judge Paula Abdul says she blames Simon Cowell for the rumors she has a drug problem. Paula Abdul has said she blames fellow American Idol judge Simon Cowell for persistent rumors that she has a drug habit. "Simon [Cowell] started a very silly joke rumor that's turned into a very frustrating time for me," Paula told the US press. "People have been blowing this out of proportion. I've been nothing but the bravest kind of girl who has been dealing with a tremendous amount of spinal cord injury and people forget that. I've had at least five surgeries in the past eight seasons of American Idol. But ever since Simon made a joke it has never been left alone. But now I am officially saying it is over. It was just a joke - it's not real." (Handbag)

John Mayer once tried to pick up pop starlet Jessie James by text-messaging her, "Let me tuck you in." James told "Boomer & Craig" on WFAN Sports Radio that she met the singer-songwriter in Manhattan. "He had someone send for me [from] across the room," James related. "He had a bunch of girls with him and he said, 'We should [all] go back to my apartment.' “She said Mayer left first to avoid the paparazzi, and when they got to Mayer's apartment, "We were all hanging out and everyone started to gradually leave. It was just he and I at this point. I told him, 'I need some taxi money, I'm going to home now.' " Mayer asked James for her number and she gave it to him before leaving. She recalled, "He texted me throughout the entire night while I was at the hotel room," leaving messages like, "Let me tuck you in. I want to see you." While the show's hosts labeled Mayer "a douche," a friend of his shrugged it off, "He met her two years ago, it was not a big deal." (Page Six)

One day after resigning from the Miss California USA pageant, and Shanna Moakler is already slamming "biblically correct" Carrie Prejean for "continuing to lie" about her booby baring past. Audibly choked up at certain points, Moakler did an emotional interview with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM -- where she bashed Prejean for not taking "responsibility" for her topless pics during her excuse filled appearance on "Today" yesterday morning. Interestingly enough, Shanna ain't slamming The Donald -- saying he's "fantastic" and "good at what he does." (TMZ)

The personal woes continue for the child stars of the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire. On Thursday, the Mumbai slum home of Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail was demolished by city authorities. The 10-year-old boy was asleep when a police officer woke him up and told him to leave his family's home, he said. Shortly after that, the shack -- among the 30 shanties on land that was owned by the government -- were destroyed, the Associated Press reports. "A police officer took a bamboo stick to hit me, and I was frightened," said the boy. Officials -- who insist only illegally built shanties were bulldozed -- tell the AP that Azhar's family will be given a new home elsewhere. But the boy's mother, Shameem, said she does not know where they will live. "Our house has been broken down by officials," Shameem -- who has lived in the shanty town for more than 15 years -- told BBC News. "We have not been given any alternate accommodation. Earlier the authorities had said they would give us a house. But I don't think that will happen any more." She told the AP that officials "didn't give prior notice" of their demolition plans. "We didn't even get a chance to take out our belongings," she said. "I don't know what I am going to do." Slumdog producers have said that they've done their best to help out the film's struggling young stars. They donated $742,000 to set up a five-year, healthcare and education program for the children. They also have created a trust, the Jai Ho. (US Weekly)

John Ratzenberger has filed for a restraining order against his 45-year-old ex girlfriend -- claiming she's capable of violence because she listens to country music. The former "Cheers" star laid it all out in legal papers filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, saying his ex "indicated that it is common in many country western songs for women to set the cars of their former boyfriends on fire." He continues, "That statement insinuates that she may have the capacity to perpetuate this act or similar violent conduct." Ratz also claims he is "deeply disturbed by the harassing and intimidating phone calls, emails and text messages." John also accuses his ex of contacting his friends, family and business associates and making "false and defamatory statements" about him. John is asking the judge to keep the chick 100 yards from himself, his house, his job -- and of course, his vehicle.  (TMZ)
