Depeche Mode lead singer David Gahan is not well enough to perform in Athens on Wednesday, concert organizers said, a day after he was rushed to hospital moments before he was to appear on stage. Tuesday night's concert north of the Greek capital was canceled after Gahan, who turned 47 last month, fell ill and was hospitalized overnight. Neither organizers nor the hospital would say what he was suffering from. About 20,000-30,000 fans who had turned up to hear the British band were told to retain their tickets in case the singer was well enough to reschedule the concert for Wednesday. "Even though everyone hoped for the singer's speedy recovery and the rescheduling of the band's show for today ... according to the information received by the band's management and the doctor on duty, the artist's health condition does not allow it," the concert organizers, Didi Music, said in an announcement Wednesday afternoon. The company said it would make a later announcement as to whether the concert would be rescheduled for another day or definitively canceled. There was no immediate word on how Gahan's illness might affect the band's next stops on their tour schedule. They are due to play in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday, before heading to Romania for a Saturday concert in Bucharest. The British band emerged in the early 1980s, releasing 46 singles and a dozen albums. (Daily Record)
Alli Sims is scrambling for a publicist. Last week, Britney Spears' cousin sent a text message to everyone programmed in her phone, encouraging them to download her single, "Driving Blind," on iTunes. Now, a tipster tells us, a guy is calling around to P.R. firms all over LA looking for someone to get the word out about Sims. "He asked his assistant to put together a list of firms and now he's randomly reaching out to all of them and trying to put together a team," we're told. A friend of Alli's told us, "The response to her single requires her to find representation." (Page Six)
Chrisette Michele notches her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as her sophomore set "Epiphany" (Def Jam) debuts atop the list with 83,000. She edges out the seventh week of the "Hannah Montana: the Movie" soundtrack (No. 2 with 82,000) and the arrival of Ciara's third album "Fantasy Ride" (LaFace) at No. 3 with just under 81,000. So that's the good news. The bad news? Michele's opening of 83,000 is the lowest sum for a No. 1-debuting album in Nielsen SoundScan's 18-year history. Previously, the low-water mark was held by Johnny Cash's "American V: A Hundred Highways" (American) in the summer of 2006, when it started with 88,000. Only one other album has debuted at No. 1 with less than 100,000: the Notorious B.I.G.'s "#1's" (Bad Boy) in November of 2005 with 99,000. However, this is easily Michele's best sales week. Her previous best frame came when her "I Am" debut started with 27,000 in July of 2007. The set debuted and peaked at No. 29. As for Ciara, "Fantasy Ride" is her third top three debuts in as many tries. Her freshman 2004 effort "Goodies" entered the list at No. 3 with 125,000 while 2006's "The Evolution" blasted onto the tally at No. 1 with 338,000. Seemingly, despite the fair amount of heat generated by "Fantasy Ride's" first single -- "Love Sex Magic" (featuring Justin Timberlake) -- the album clocks Ciara's lowest first-week sum yet. Elsewhere in the top 10 this week, Rascal Flatts' "Unstoppable" (Lyric Street) moves up one notch to No. 4 with 58,000 (up 10%); last week's No. 1, Bob Dylan's "Together Through Life" (Columbia), falls four slots to No. 5 with 51,000 (down 59%); Lady GaGa's "The Fame" (Streamline/KonLive/Cherrytree/Interscope) moves up one position to No. 6 with 41,000 (up 4%); Taylor Swift's "Fearless" (Big Machine) slides up two slots to No. 7 with just under 41,000 (up 42%); Rick Ross' "Deeper Than Rap" (Maybach/Slip-N-Slide/Def Jam) falls from No. 4 to No. 8 with 35,000 (down 32%); Ben Harper and Relentless7's (Virgin/Capitol) "White Lies for Dark Times" debuts at No. 9 with 34,000 and the "Twilight" soundtrack (Summit/Chop Shop/Atlantic) slips from No. 6 to No. 10 with 32,000 (down 8%). Many albums on the Billboard 200 saw gains this week in the wake of the Mother's Day holiday on May 10. That's likely owed to discount pricing on sets that were mom-friendly, in addition to non-sale-priced purchases of sets that have female appeal. Thus, an album like Taylor Swift's "Fearless" can generate a 42% increase in sales. Only 14 titles in the top 50 this week see a decline in sales. Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending May 10) totaled 6.51 million units, up 5.4% compared to the sum last week (6.17 million) and down 19.8% compared to the same sales week of 2008 (8.12 million). Year to date album sales stand at 130.5 million, down 12.9% compared to the same total at this point last year (149.9 million). (Billboard)
Lady Gaga has vowed never to be caught lip-syncing when performing. Pop star Lady GaGa has promised she will never lip-sync when performing, Showbiz Spy report. "I would never even think about it [lip-syncing]. The whole point to me is, if you're gonna be number one, you better really be f***ing number one," GaGa explained. "If you're gonna be on top, you better be able to do all those things. It's a real privilege to be able to make music everyday, and I get away with a lot. Andy Warhol says art is what you can get away with, and I get away with a lot with my music and my clothes, and I work really hard so I could truly be a real artist for all my fans. That's really f***ed up when you lip-sync." (Handbag)
The pressure is on for Danny Gokey, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. There's just one week until the "American Idol" finale, and on Tuesday night the all-male trio competed for two spots in next week's much-hyped sing-off. They each performed two songs, one picked by the judges' panel and the other chosen by themselves. It was a last chance to make an impression on the voting viewers. Now, the aspiring pop stars await the verdict on Wednesday's results show. As usual, Lambert wowed the panel with his daring vocal range and style. He sang the U2 anthem "One" — Simon Cowell's selection — and his personal choice: the Aerosmith classic "Crying." "How do you hit those notes and still talk the next day?" asked Kara DioGuardi, one of the four judges on the top-rated Fox network competition. Jumping in on the Lambert lovefest, Paula Abdul gushed: "We'll be seeing you next week and many years after that." Not so fast, warned Cowell. The judge shrewdly noted that people should vote for the 27-year-old theater actor and not assume he's a shoo-in for the final showdown. Strong performances by Gokey and Allen on Tuesday could challenge the expectation that Lambert — who appears on the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly — has the "Idol" crown in the bag. Allen of Conway, Ark., was the only finalist to select a contemporary song — "Heartless" by Kanye West. DioGuardi praised Allen's cool interpretation of the R&B hit as "bold, brave and fearless," while Cowell revealed he'd written the married 23-year-old out of the competition until that performance. Cowell and DioGuardi got into a spat over Allen earlier in the show. DioGuardi and Randy Jackson picked One Republic's "Apologize" for Allen, and Cowell complained the song was a "lame choice." Things turned ugly when Cowell zeroed in on DioGuardi, who had urged Allen to "take more chances" following his faithful cover of the pop hit. "You can't choose a song for him and then blame him for the song," sniped Cowell, before DioGuardi covered up his mouth with her hand. Gokey, 28, of Milwaukee, received high marks for his cover of Joe Cocker's version of "You Are So Beautiful." The panel thought he nailed it, and Cowell's praise was the icing on top: "I would call that a vocal master class." Gokey's dancing, however, was another story during his rendition of Terence Trent D'Arby's "Dance Little Sister," chosen by Abdul. DioGuardi said his "gyrating" was too much for her, while Cowell described Gokey's footwork in a word: "desperate." Not that Gokey seemed to care. "I want to sing that song!" he said. (Billboard)
Kings of Leon has joined the performance lineup for the "2009 MTV Movie Awards," a network source confirmed Wednesday morning (May 13). The band is just the second act confirmed for the show, after rapper Eminem. The band will perform “Use Somebody,” the most recent single from its album "Only By The Night." Hosted by Andy Samberg, the "MTV Movie Awards" will air on Sunday, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. (live ET/tape delayed PT). As previously reported, Kings of Leon embarked on a North American arena tour on April 19, after playing a string of winter dates that culminated with a sold-out show at New York's Madison Square Garden. The band's tour wraps May 21 in San Francisco before its performance at the MTV Movie Awards, which will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City, Ca. on May 31. Kings of Leon will headline several U.S. summer festivals, including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Sasquatch, as well as the Reading and Leeds festivals in the U.K.. Kings of Leon's 2008 album, "Only by the Night" has sold 673,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan, and its lead single "Sex on Fire" spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Airplay chart. "Use Somebody" is at No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. (Billboard)

The head of the Cannes Film Festival says Sean Penn is a hard act to follow. The Academy Award-winning actor served as the president of last year's Cannes jury, and festival director Thierry Fremaux says he'll be missed. That sentiment might not be shared by one of this year's jurors — actress Robin Wright Penn, who is in the midst of a divorce from the Milk star. The Cannes festival opens Wednesday, and the president of this year's jury is French actress Isabelle Huppert. Huppert is the first French president since 2003 and the first woman to head the jury since Liv Ullman in 2001. That year, jurors awarded the festival's best-actress prize to — Isabelle Huppert, for The Piano Teacher. (Daily Record)
Nicole Kidman won't be joining Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts and Freida Pinto in Woody Allen's latest film, as had been reported in March, because the Australia star has left the project. No reason for Kidman's exit has been announced, reports Variety, just as no replacement has yet to be named. The untitled movie is due to be shot in London this summer. Meanwhile, Kidman, 41, can be seen, albeit in limited release, with Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali, 9, in a new commercial for Schweppes drinks. In it, Kidman plays a princess en route to a palace in India, where the handsome Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal meets her. Filmed in India, the commercial was directed by Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) and produced by Ridley Scott (Gladiator), reports Britain's Daily Telegraph. (People)
Lydia Hearst is about to get all hot and bothered at a theater near you. The blond heiress has a sex scene with Jason Behr in the opening reel of "The Last International Playboy," which opens June 12. Later, Hearst, who plays a model named Stella, gets topless as she and Behr, as a booze-swilling Manhattan skirt-chaser, strip off their shirts. Hearst will preview the movie tomorrow on a trans-Atlantic flight bound for the Life Ball AIDS benefit in Vienna. (Page Six)
It was as if the Festival de Cannes had collectively inhaled a little of the helium in those thousands of balloons that lift aloft an entire house in the animated movie "Up." Pixar's 10th movie not only served as the opening-night film for the 62nd edition of the venerable fest Wednesday, it also left everyone who touched it just a little bit giddy. Introducing the film to the press, festival director Thierry Fremaux took a moment to snap a personal photograph of the assembled journos once they all adorned their 3-D glasses, capturing a moment that was at once historic and a little geeky. A few hours later, at the Carlton Pier, the filmmakers were joined by French superstar Charles Aznavour, who lends his voice in the dubbed French version of the movie, in which he plays Carl, the 78-year-old man who sets off on the adventure of a lifetime by hitching his house to thousands of helium balloons. Acting as a bit of ringmaster, John Lasseter, chief creative officer for Disney and Pixar, walked the group through their paces -- "Are we good for you, guys?" Lasseter asked the furiously clicking photogs -- while Disney chairman Dick Cook looked on. "This is obviously something very, very special," Cook said. "For Disney/Pixar to have an opening-night film at the Cannes Film Festival is unprecedented for us, a real honor, and a real thrill." At the filmmakers' news conference following the first screening, Lasseter testified, "To have our movie 'Up' open the Cannes Film Festival is one of the greatest things to happen to us in our careers. You have to understand what this festival means to a filmmaker -- it is one of the most prestigious festivals in the world. To have your movie actually open it is really, really exciting. I think the thing I'm looking to the most is seeing that great image of all these people tonight in their tuxedoes, bow ties, gowns, wearing 3-D glasses." While most of the assembled press lavished praise on the filmmakers in return, one questioner, a German journalist, tried to wade into political waters, suggesting that the movie, in which an old man joins forces with a young Wilderness Explorer scout, was somehow a metaphor for a new America shedding its old bellicose ways. "If you see that in the movie, help yourself," director Pete Docter said. "We're basically not ever trying to put any large table-thumping, bible-stomping message across. We're just trying to entertain people. We hope that there's something substantive behind that, whether the movies are about fish or monsters, there's something relatable, that we see in own lives. But our primary objective is to see that the audience has a good time." Lasseter's underscored the importance of the film's emotional underpinnings. "What is important for me, always, is the heart of a story. ... Walt Disney always said for every laugh there should be a tear. When I heard the idea for this (film), I knew it was going to be tuned into emotion. I know we can make a movie funny. I know we can make it beautiful. But it is that heart that is a challenging thing." Paying tribute to Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki, Lasseter said, "I think Miyazaki is in all of the Pixar films. His films are always focused on the characters and stories. They are so inventive. One of the things he does is celebrate the quiet moments in a film. ... That's been a huge inspiration for all of us. All of our films, especially 'Up,' have that feeling of taking time to celebrate the quiet moment." Both Docter and Lasseter endorsed 3-D -- when used in the service of emotion and story. "3-D is like any new technological innovation -- this is something John taught me when I first started -- it's like a fun toy," Docter said. "As soon as someone gives us something, we say, oh, boy, what does it do? Then you start messing around with it, and then you start to realize how you can use it for storytelling. In this case, we really tried to use depth in the same way we used color and cinematography and that's to further the emotion of a scene." "I think 3-D is a fantastic device that helps get the audience into the story that much more," Lasseter said. "As Pete has said, 'We've always made our films in 3-D, we've just shown them in 2-D'." At the same time -- even while committing Disney and Pixar to turning out more 3-D movies -- Lasseter said he was excited that Disney is returning to traditional, hand-drawn animation with "The Princess and the Frog," which will be released later this year. "2-D animation stopped being made by the studios," he said. "They kept saying audiences don't want to watch 2-D animation any more. The reality is that audiences don't want to watch bad movies. 2-D animation became the scapegoat for bad storytelling." (Hollywood Reporter)
Image Entertainment has acquired all North American rights to "The Other Man," a thriller starring Liam Neeson, Antonio Banderas and Laura Linney. Based on a short story by Bernhard Schlink, who also penned "The Reader," the film centers on a man (Neeson) pursuing the mystery of his wife's adultery. Richard Eyre will direct and co-wrote the screen adaptation with Charles Wood. The film's producers are Frank Doelger, Tracey Scoffield, Michael Dreyer, Mary Beth O'Connor and David Richenthal. Image, based in Chatsworth, Calif., acquired the film -- which was in last year's Marche du Film and also played the Toronto International Film Festival -- from U.K.-based Rainmark Films, which co-produced the movie with New York's Gotham Prods. It plans to open the picture theatrically in New York and Los Angeles on Aug. 7, with an expansion planned for Aug. 14. Image also will release the film in the home entertainment market. The King of the Cowboys has left the ballroom. After weeks of less-than-stellar scores, rodeo champ Ty Murray was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. The 39-year-old bull rider came into Tuesday's semifinal results show in last place with 48 points out of 60. "We might be at the bottom this week, but week one we were the 13th-worst couple," Murray joked of his unlikely success in the ABC dance-off. The nine-time world champion rodeo cowboy joined the hit show with wife Jewel, who was sidelined by an injury before the competition began. Alongside professional partner Chelsie Hightower, Murray plodded ahead with stiff hips and a positive attitude that moved fans to bring him back week after week. Judges praised Murray for his hard work and can-do approach. "If the others have climbed hills, you've climbed mountains," head judge Len Goodman said Tuesday. "With that dedication and work ethic, you've been a credit to everyone on the show." On Monday, judge Carrie Ann Inaba named Murray "the most valuable player of season eight." The lovable cowboy said he knew dancing would be "a giant stretch" but that he approached it with the same vigor he does bull riding. "There's not one ounce of quit in this entire body," he said Monday. The ballroom audience rose to its feet to bid Murray farewell Tuesday. He smiled, saying he has "a whole new respect" for dancing. He also thanked his partner. "Teaching me to dance is like trying to teach a blind guy to paint," Murray quipped. Tuesday's results show also included a performance by Raphael Saadiq and the continuation of the new professional dance competition: Two pro dancers are vying for viewer votes and a spot on the next season of Dancing With the Stars, slated to begin in September. Actor Gilles Marini, Olympian Shawn Johnson and "The Bachelor" reject Melissa Rycroft will compete for the mirrorball trophy on Monday.
A new Dancing champ will be crowned May 19. (Daily Record)
After shedding an impressive 140 pounds, Helen Phillips was crowned winner of NBC's The Biggest Loser: Couples. show on Tuesday. "I'm feeling like I could just burst at the seams! I'm so excited," she tells Usmagazine.com. "And I'm so happy. I'm just so thrilled about this whole evening. At 48, I won it, you know?" Phillips, of Sterling Heights, Mich., lost 54.47 percent of her weight. She beat out 19-year-old Mike Morelli, who lost 207 lbs. (to go from 388 lbs. to 181 lbs.), and 24-year-old Tara Costa, who lost 155 lbs. (to go from 294 lbs. to 139 lbs.). "I knew when I got home how hard I was working and how many hours I put into it," says Phillips, who started the competition last fall at 257 pounds. "I never knew that I would take first place! I always thought maybe second, maybe third, but I did it. I took the whole thing!" How will she spend her $250,000 grand prize? "At this point, I haven't given it a lot of thought," she tells Us. "It really wasn’t about the money. Now it's a bonus for me - I get to live my happy life!" She says she plans to take her husband Russell to Las Vegas' Bellagio hotel "for a break because he was a good support system for me." (Her cash prize will come in handy: Russell is in danger of losing his job if automaker Chrysler LLC goes forward with a plan to shut down its Sterling Heights assembly plant in 2010.) For the time being, Phillips tells Us, "We'll kick back and float in the pool and talk about what we can do with the money." (US Weekly)
Terrell Owens will have even more TV cameras in tow when he arrives in Buffalo this weekend for the start of the Bills' series of voluntary minicamps. VH-1 confirmed Tuesday that filming of the Buffalo portion of T.O.'s television reality show will begin Sunday, a day before the Bills open minicamp. The footage is being gathered for a series that follows the day-to-day life of the high-profile star receiver. It is scheduled to premier on the cable network in late July. Owens reached the deal with VH-1 in January while still a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Producers had to scramble to change plans after Owens was released by the Cowboys on March 5, and then signed with the Bills two days later. Filming of the series coincidentally began the week Owens was released by the Cowboys, and is scheduled to run through June. Also featured in the show will be Owens' two friends and publicists, Monique Jackson and Kita Williams. In announcing the series, VH-1 noted that "after a string of relationships and off-the-field endeavors, Terrell is ready to re-examine his personal life and finally put a plan into action" with the help of Jackson and Williams. Filming in Buffalo is tentatively scheduled to run through Wednesday, when the Bills complete their three-day minicamp. Along with VH-1, the series is being produced by Evan Prager and Jesse Ignjatovic. (Daily Record)
First Janice Dickinson, then Twiggy, now Paulina Porizkova??? "Somebody" has relieved Porizkova of her America's Next Top Model judging duties! Paulina spilled all the details on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Tuesday night! "Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles?," the former supermodel turned Top Model judge asked Ferguson. "Because I am looking for a job… Because I was fired from America's Next Top Model on my birthday, they timed it well." Was Tyra Bank’s mammoth-sized ego all the narcissism the show could handle??? "…The reason I was fired, just to be fair here, the reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America's Next Top Model had gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me," Porizkova claimed. Translation: They needed to trim expenses. Paulina is no dum-dum, though! She thinks Tyra "just felt [the show] didn't need [her]" and that after two cycles with ANTM, it was her time to go. The Gosselins make up to $75,000 per episode on their TLC hit, Jon & Kate Plus 8, for a 20-episode season -- and that's not even counting all their freebies! As the Los Angeles Times reports that TLC is scrambling to find a way to revise the May 25 season premiere given the latest news on the couple, the delicate balancing act of how to incorporate reality into a heavily produced "reality" show is in the balance. For the Gosselin clan, it's not just their show -- but their lifestyle -- that hang in the balance. Kate, who grew up in a trailer park and didn't go on her first airplane ride until her honeymoon to Disney World, now flies only first class for speaking engagements (mostly paid for by churches), sells signed photos of her kids for $20 a pop at appearances, and received a free tummy tuck after giving birth (Jon received a free hair transplant). A family source says while pregnant with the sextuplets, she grew "obsessed" with how many goodies the famed McCaughey septuplets received in 1997. Jon, now a stay-at-home dad, was fired from his job at Style Craft Corp in 2004 after "spending much more time" on a "quest" for freebies than working, the company's owner, David Rothermel, tells Us. (Rothermel finally has spoken out after growing furious at the couple's well-worn claim that he was fired because the company didn't want to insure his family.) "Instead of keeping the attention on their kids, they've let the attention turn to money and fame," says a family source of Jon and Kate, who, according to Nielson Media Research, are ranked No. 8 on the list of cable shows with the most product placement. Marc Berman, senior television editor at Mediaweek, says producers cannot continue to portray the Gosselins as an everyday family trying to raise eight kids. "Their lives have changed - they're not struggling anymore," Berman tells Usmagazine.com. "They're eating at fancy restaurants now. Yeah, they still have eight children, but things are different. Below, a sample of just some of the swag they've scored:- Free beds

"They're now a celebrity couple," says Berman. "The emphasis of the show has changed, and they need to address how they've evolved." If they don't evolve the show, I think the audience is going to be upset," he tells Us. "You can't fool an audience." (US Weekly)
In preparation for its upfront presentation next week, Fox picked up two new series Tuesday: the comic book drama "Human Target" and the single-camera comedy "Sons of Tucson." It also renewed the midseason drama "Lie to Me," tapping "The Shield" creator/executive producer Shawn Ryan as executive producer/showrunner. Fox, which will be the first broadcast network to unveil its fall schedule to advertisers Monday, already has two new series in the can for the fall: the animated comedy "Cleveland" and the dramedy "Glee." "Target," from WBTV, DC Comics and Wonderland, emerged as an early front-runner at the network. The pilot, directed by Simon West, scored the highest marks at Fox's internal screenings last week. Based on the DC Comics title, the show, penned by Jon Steinberg, centers on Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a mysterious freelancer who assumes the identities of people in danger, becoming the "human target" on behalf of his clients. Jackie Earle Haley and Chi McBride co-star in the project exec produced by Steinberg and McG. "Tucson," from 20th TV and J2TV, also was an early favorite at the network. The pilot, directed by Todd Holland, stars Tyler Labine as a charming but misguided hustler hired by three young brothers to act as their father while their real one serves prison time for a white-collar crime. Frank Dolce, Davis Cleveland, Troy Gentile and Natalie Martinez co-star in the comedy penned by Tommy Dewey and Greg Bratman. Dewey and Bratman exec produce with Harvey Myman, Jason Felts and Justin Berfield. Remaining in contention for a series order at Fox are the drama pilot "Past Life" and the comedy pilot "Brothers." On the bubble front, the cult favorite "Dollhouse" is still alive, with the final decision hinging on the low-rated series' economics. The future is much clearer for Fox's other midseason drama series, "Lie," which scored its best ratings in five weeks last week. Its pickup follows the early renewal last week of Fox's other promising freshman drama, "Fringe." Ryan already had been lending a hand behind the scenes of "Lie," which stars Tim Roth as a human lie detector working with the police and private clients. Despite his expanded duties on "Lie," Ryan remains committed to CBS' "The Unit," which he also exec produces and runs. The military drama is still in contention for a fifth-season pickup after Ryan recently pitched his ideas to CBS brass and after the series saw a ratings uptick in the last couple of weeks. Ryan is accustomed to running two shows simultaneously; he did it for several years with "Unit" and his FX drama "The Shield." David Tennant is the new host of PBS' "Masterpiece Contemporary." Tennant will make his debut on the long-running public TV anthology this fall, its producing station, WGBH, announced Wednesday. The 38-year-old Scottish actor, who follows past "Masterpiece" hosts such as Alan Cumming and Laura Linney, played the title role in the long-running BBC sci-fi series "Doctor Who." His screen credits include "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." "Masterpiece Contemporary" returns on the Public Broadcasting Service in October with "Endgame," a drama about the final days of apartheid in South Africa starring William Hurt and Jonny Lee Miller. It premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The "Masterpiece" series began as "Masterpiece Theatre" in 1971, and now also encompasses "Mystery!" -- a public TV fixture since 1980.
