Here's some news that will blow yer mind

In her most recognized role these days, Olivia Wilde is known for being covered up. But that is about to change. The actress, who plays Thirteen (Dr. Hadley) on the Fox medical drama House, is No. 1 on Maxim's annual Hot 100 list. It's featured in the June issue, out this week. "I'm considered sexy even though I'm wearing a lab coat every day and seen as a doctor on TV," Wilde says. "That really says something. Playing someone who is not defined by her looks and being considered hot, that really makes me feel good." Who might be the most surprising woman on the list? Michelle Obama, Maxim editor Joe Levy says. She comes in at No. 93. Why does she make the cut? "Her accomplishments, her fashion sense, her triceps," Levy says. "We merely want to acknowledge that the overall package is one of remarkable beauty, intelligence and talent." When asked about being in the company of the first lady, Wilde says: "Oh my God. My hero. She's just fantastic." The rest of the top 10: Megan Fox, Bar Refaeli, Malin Akerman, Mila Kunis, Eliza Dushku, Adriana Lima, Rihanna, Jordana Brewster and Jennifer Love Hewitt. James Spader is trading in Boston for Broadway. Producer Jeffrey Richards says the star of TV's Boston Legal as well as the film sex, lies and videotape, will make his Broadway debut in the world premiere of David Mamet's Race. The play, which Mamet will direct, has also found a New York home — the Ethel Barrymore Theater — and will go into rehearsal a week earlier than previously announced. Richards says the play will open Dec. 6 with previews starting Nov. 17. Rehearsals begin Oct. 19. Richards has declined to talk about Race but said earlier this year, "The title is self-explanatory." Catherine Masters had always wanted to meet a member of Britain's royal family. But when she finally got the chance at age 109, she couldn't resist offering it a little advice. When Prince William made a surprise visit to Masters' nursing home near the upper crust city of Oxford on Friday, she gave him a fashion tip for his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Like all British centenarians, Masters received a royal birthday card from the queen when she turned 100, 105 and every year thereafter. But Masters doesn't think each card should picture her royal highness in the same yellow dress. In an interview with the Oxford Mail newspaper, Masters said she told William that the queen should be pictured in a new dress. "I think either a blue one or white one would be nice," she was quoted as saying. She also reportedly gave the prince advice on how to make mashed potatoes. It wasn't clear whether the prince would pass the fashion tip on to his 82-year-old grandmother, whose conservative dress sense generally commands the respect of her British subjects. Buckingham Palace acknowledged that the same picture on the queen's birthday card had been used for the past few years, but noted that the image did change occasionally. Ian Mead, who manages the Grange Nursing Home, in Faringdon near Oxford, said in an interview on Tuesday that a local lawmaker had arranged the surprise visit, knowing that Mead had always wanted to meet a royal. "It was a very generous of the prince to find time out to see an old lady. ... It was really charming of him, and she just hasn't stopped talking about it," he said. Mead said the entire nursing home would "wait with bated breath" for Masters' 110th birthday in December "to see if the queen will still be wearing the yellow dress." (Daily Record)

Calling all wannabe princesses and polo fans! Prince Harry will be making his first-ever formal visit to the United States later this month to participate in the second annual Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic – and the public is invited. Taking place Saturday, May 30, on New York's historic Governors Island, the match will pit Prince Harry, 24, – on the team captained by Nick Roldan – against team Black Watch, captained by polo hottie Nacho Figueras. There will be areas open to the public at no charge as well as those requiring tickets. In reverence to the long-time polo tradition, VIP guests will be asked to dress for the occasion: women in hats and men in summer suits. And what's a royal visit without afternoon tea? At the polo match, Sandro Micheli, executive pastry chef at Adour Alain Ducasse at The St. Regis New York, has created a special menu in honor of the occasion. Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic's proceeds will benefit American Friends of Sentebale, a U.S.-based charity that supports at-risk children in Lesotho, Africa, and was founded in honor of Princess Diana and Queen 'Mamohato of Lesotho. "We look forward to providing spectators with an afternoon of sport and entertainment, surrounded by the magnificent Manhattan skyline," says Veuve Clicquot's Aisha Thompson. For more information and tickets check vcseason.com. Paying Respect During his visit, Harry will pay his respects and lay a wreath in memory of those who died on 9/11, as well as meet American service personnel. "He will meet privately with young men who have been wounded," says a palace spokesman of the prince's "lightning visit." "Harry wants to get under the skin of the thing and find out how injured personnel are cared for." He will also visit Harlem Children's Zone with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, who is co-patron of the charity. Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, is paying privately for Harry's travel and that of his staff. The prince last visited America as a child during a mini-tour of Canada with his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William, now 26. (People)

Maxim has unveiled its "2009 Hot 100," the lad magazine's definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women. Topping the list: House's Olivia Wilde, whom Maxim editors say they can't stop "drooling over." For the first time, a First Lady makes the cut: Michelle Obama debuts at No. 93. Says Maxim, "[President Obama] may be dealing with two wars, an economic meltdown, and a rapidly graying dome, but at least our Commander-in-Chief gets to come home to the hottest First Lady in the history of these United States." (Click here to see the complete list) The top 10 most beautiful women (according to Maxim):1. Olivia Wilde: "We may not know a McDreamy from a McNugget, but when it comes to TV doctors, there is only one who makes our body temperatures raise. We were drooling over the NYC native long before she was injected into Fox's hit medical drama (House)." 2. Megan Fox: "Seriously, do women get more painfully hot than this? Megan Fox has the face of an angel, a body so perfect that God may have carved it out of soap and sex appeal that could melt a unicorn's horn. Plus, we hear she smells like clouds."3. Bar Refaeli: "If there's any evidence that the Middle East is a land of beauty and wonder Bar is it. The 24-year-old Israeli supermodel with the brain blowing body scorched the cover of the famed Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition."4. Malin Akerman: "In the dark world of Watchmen, Malin was tasked with one tough mission ... Watchmen wasn't the first time we've seen Malin and it won't be the last. She's got four new flicks on her busy schedule."5. Mila Kunis: "Mila's combination of exotic beauty and gal-next-door charm would make any sane man forget his ex in three seconds flat."6. Eliza Dushku: "On-screen in Fox's Dollhouse, she's a lethal hottie who can negotiate a hostage release or recover stolen art for the Greek government. Off-screen she's the show's producer. Eliza, you've delivered a round house kick to our heartstrings."7. Adriana Lima: "With apologies to Mrs. Tom Brady [Gisele], it's Adriana who epitomizes the Brazilian bombshell — her killer curves, ridiculous sexiness, and adorable accent make this supermodel the hottest native of a country stupid with smoking hot women."8. Rihanna: "Pop's reigning princess has had a year of wild highs and lows. Rumor has it, she's in the studio recording her fourth album. We're dancing already." 9. She left us high and dry for a bit, but her return to the tube on Ghost Whisperer gives us our weekly fix of Love... and needy dead people." (US Weekly)

Spencer Wilton, the man rumored to be behind Katie Price and Peter Andre's break-up, is a gay dressage rider, who enjoyed a drunken night with the former glamour model in a Brighton nightclub. Peter Andre reportedly ended his marriage after seeing Katie getting close to Wilton in newspaper pictures, but the horse-rider denies there was anything in it. "We were just having a perfectly innocent, fun night out," he said yesterday. "It's all been blown into something it isn't. I'm already in a happy relationship with a male partner," he added. Wilton's former partner denied that there was an affair going on between the pair, stating: "It's out of the realms of possibility - Spencer's gay." A friend of Peter Andre denied that the split was a publicity stunt, saying: "We are all keeping our fingers crossed that they will reconcile but for the time being the separation is very much for real." Only time will tell if this new revelation will change Peter's decision on the break-up. (British Glamour)

Exactly whose side is Sean Penn on? The Oscar winner was shooting his new flick, "Fair Game," at the Essex House on Tuesday when 200 hotel workers staged a work stoppage in the lobby. They claim management owes them $1.8 million in withheld tips. One striker told The Post's Amber Sutherland that as the ultra-liberal star, who's known for supporting workers' rights, walked by the rally, he waved to them in solidarity. And yet, a production assistant insisted that filming wasn't affected in any way. Penn's rep didn't get back to us. (Page Six)

Death should never equate to free shipping. British equipment dealer Skiwear4Less.com sent a promotional email to all subscribers on March 18 telling them about the tragic death of Natasha Richardson...and advertising ski helmets at a discounted rate. The warehouse's email has since been slammed and banned by the U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority because, according to Brand Republic, "the watchdog felt that reporting the event in such a manner in order to sell ski helmets was likely to cause offence and be conceived as insensitive to recipients." Indeed, the mass-mailer featured a photograph of the star and offered details of her passing alongside a strong sales pitch. (Eonline)

Howard K. Stern and two doctors pleaded not guilty yesterday morning to supplying Anna Nicole Smith with the drugs that eventually took her life. Khristine Eroshevich and Sandeep Kapoor stand accused of six felony counts, including prescribing, administering, and dispensing a controlled substance to an addict. Smith's lawyer has previously decried the charges as "sensational lies, speculation, rumor and gossip" and insists his client will be exonerated. (Eonline)
